EHC Red Bull München: Adam Brooks is out

EHC Red Bull München will be without forward Adam Brooks for several weeks// NEWSOur striker Adam Brooks is expected to be out until the end of January. The Canadian suffered a leg injury last Tuesday in the 3:1 win against Straubing and will not be available to his team for at least six weeks.

Coach Max Kaltenhauser's team will therefore be without its second-highest scorer in the last twelve championship games. In addition to the former NHL pro, Munich's most successful DEL scorer of all time Trevor Parkes (leg injury) and veteran Ben Smith (upper body injury) will also be out for an extended period.

14 points in 23 DEL games

Brooks moved from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) to the Red Bulls this summer. In 2016, he was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fourth round of the annual NHL Draft, in which all NHL teams secure the transfer rights to the world's best young players. In the following years, he played a total of 45 games for the Leafs, the Montreal Canadiens, the Vegas Golden Knights and the Winnipeg Jets in the best ice hockey league in the world. For EHC Red Bull Munich, the left-shooter has contributed seven goals and seven assists in 23 DEL games to date.
