Late exchange of blows in the first encounter

Coach Dallas Eakins' team has won five of its last eight games. On Friday evening, however, Mannheim lost the derby at Schwenninger Wild Wings 2:6.

At home, however, the Adler defense has been extremely stable of late, conceding just five goals in four games in November. Felix Brückmann even recorded a shutout in the narrow 1:0 win against the Pinguins Bremerhaven.

A deep attack

Strikingly, no Mannheim player is currently among the top scorers in the league. The Kurpfälzer rely on four balanced lines, all of which can make an offensive appearance.
