DEL Playoffs: Suspensions for Jeremy McKenna and Fabio Wagner

DEL Announces Suspensions for McKenna and Wagner// STAFFOn Wednesday evening, the German Ice Hockey League imposed suspensions on our players Jeremy McKenna and Fabio Wagner.
As announced by the DEL, forward McKenna has been suspended for two games “for violating Rule 48 (checking to the head and neck area)” and will therefore not be in the Red Bulls’ lineup for Game 5 of the quarterfinals on Thursday at SAP Garden (7:30 p.m.) or for Game 6 on Saturday in Ingolstadt (2:00 p.m.).
Defenseman Wagner has also been suspended by the league for the next 14 games “for a violation of Rule 48 (checking to the head and neck area).” Should the EHC Red Bull München play that many games during the current 2025–26 season, Wagner’s suspension will automatically extend until May 8, meaning he will not be eligible to play until the end of this year’s German championship playoffs.
