Water and ice - motifs with symbolic power
"The water on one side is to symbolize the Mediterranean Sea. I like to be at the Mediterranean Sea, in or with the boat also on the water. I've been vacationing in Sardinia for as long as I can remember. On the other side is an iceberg, which is supposed to stand for ice hockey," explains the goalie.
The vice world champion himself initiated the creation of the design. "Water and ice - these are my elements. The combination suits me. The fact that it worked out this way is pretty cool," the 30-year-old says happily.
