Gameplay
The Red Bulls with fast, creative field hockey and a lot of pressure on the goal of Cody Brenner. The Steelers goalie was lucky with Maximilian Daubner's shot against the post (4th), then he made a strong save against Chris DeSousa on Munich's first power play (6th). The Red Bulls' assistant captain made it 3:1 (48th) and took the wind out of the sails of the bottom team. Munich left no stone unturned and made it clear in the 59th minute: Ortega scored an empty-net goal to make it 4:1, before Smith scored his third goal - Brenner was back in the box - to make it 5:1.
