Fans and team celebrate exuberant start to the season// CURRENTOn Saturday, the Red Bulls held their first public ice training session. Thanks to the fans, who were treated to a colorful program of entertainment after the session, the players' entrance into the training arena gave a taste of what's to come this seasonWhen the team of our new coach Oliver David stepped onto the ice of training hall 1 at around 11:00 a.m., there was great jubilation. It was the first joint training session with all the players before the start of the season. Also present: all eleven new additions to the four-time German champions.

550 fans make for a "great first day of training"
In addition to the regular training session, the players also offered the 550 fans in the sold-out arena a small show match at the end of the day, thus showing the rookie Bulls how it's done. Before everyone involved went into the stadium concourse, where access was possible even without a pre-purchased ticket, the Munich rookies showed what they have to offer.
"It was a great first day of training for me. The fans were great, the energy was great and the volume was high. I think it was great for the youngsters too," said our new signing Dillon Heatherington, who was delighted with his first big session with the team.

New autograph format ensures more exchange
"Just in time for ice hockey season, we finally have the best weather again - so it's even nicer to see how many people have found their way to the SAP Garden today." With these words, Christian Winkler welcomed the visitors after the training session in the SAP Garden arena. This was followed by interviews with Managing Director Sports Red Bull Ice Hockey Winkler, Assistant Managing Director Sports Neville Rautert, our new coach Oliver David and his assistant coaches Max Kaltenhauser and Rob Leask.
Instead of a classic autograph session, EHC Red Bull Munich decided this year to position the players at various stations within the circuit. This gave the fans significantly more opportunities to talk to the players for longer and still get their autographs. Other offers such as our photo box, the shooting station or the outdoor bouncy castle for the little fans provided the necessary variety.

Our new home jersey: now available in the Bullstore and online store
On top of that, fans were able to enjoy first-class service in our Bullstore: Matthias Bittner and Rio Kaiser, for example, made sure that all fans were able to secure one of our new home jerseys. The jersey, which was officially presented on Friday, is now available not only in the online store but also on site in the fan store in the SAP Garden.
The day was rounded off with free beer from our partner Hacker-Pschorr. After the kick-off, fans won't have to wait much longer to see our boys in action again - or for the first time. Our first pre-season game of the new season is already scheduled for next Thursday. The clash against SC Bern will take place as part of the Lehner Cup in Sursee, Switzerland, at 19:00.
