Main round exit for Ben Smith// CURRENTGerman ice hockey champions EHC Red Bull Munich will have to contest the important final phase of the DEL main round without their forward Ben Smith.The 35-year-old has suffered a lower-body injury and will not be available to coach Toni Söderholm for at least the three remaining first-round games against Iserlohn, Berlin and Augsburg.

In addition to Smith, the Munich team will still be missing the two defensemen Adam Almquist and Dominik Bittner.
