Together with the two U17 soccer world champions Konstantin Heide (SpVgg Unterhaching) and Max Schmitt (FC Bayern Munich) as well as the Director of Youth Development at FC Bayern, Jochen Sauer, Heigl and Funk spoke on the "EURO 2024 bench" about successful youth development, the path to professional sport and the challenges of the two sports of ice hockey and soccer.
