PENNY DEL Award Show: Veit Oswald honoured as Junior of the Year// NEWSVeit Oswald is the German Ice Hockey League's Junior of the Year. Our number 27 was honoured on Monday evening at the award show in Munich."I was delighted to receive the award, it's a huge honor for me. I'll take this award with me into the playoffs as additional motivation. I want to show what I can do there too," says Oswald, who accepted the award on Monday evening in the company of his parents.
Our attacker has really taken off this season. One milestone was his first DEL goal on October 5, 2023 against Iserlohn.
Scored ten times
The 19-year-old forward has now scored ten goals this season. He also recorded seven assists in the main round of the PENNY DEL and two assists in the Champions League.

The native of Landshut has also already demonstrated his skills on the international stage. At the turn of the year, he led the German junior national team to victory at the U20 World Championship in Sweden. As top scorer with five points in four appearances.
Oswald has won the hearts of the fans thanks to his spectacular style of play and has become an important pillar in Munich's game. Our coach Toni Söderholm is also full of praise. "Veit has a lot of potential. He has brought a breath of fresh air to the team this season and has the right mindset to develop and get better every day," says Söderholm.
