Playoffs DEL EHC Red Bull München: Voices and Stats after Game 2

After series equalization: Self-critical Red Bulls want to attack againVoices & Stats for the second semifinal match// DEL - CURRENTThe Red Bulls put on the pressure, firing nearly 50 times at the opponent's goal. But Wolfsburg's defense held firm. Coach Don Jackson and captain Patrick Hager name the reasons for the 2:3 defeat and look ahead. The voices & stats.
Don Jackson (Coach Red Bull München): "First of all, I congratulate Wolfsburg on the win. We were down 0:2 after the 1st period, that was not a good start. Beyond that, there was a clear difference between effort and execution. In terms of effort, I can't fault the guys, but we had to pay dearly for our unused powerplay opportunities. When good situations arise for us, we have to use them better."
Highlights: Grizzlys Wolfsburg vs. Red Bull München (02.04.2023)
// DEL - HIGHLIGHTS
Patrick Hager (Red Bull München captain): "We played a bad first period and conceded two goals, we had to chase those for the rest of the game. That was the sticking point. We actually had enough chances. But at the end of the day, you have to play a full 60 minutes in the playoffs, and we didn't do that today. We will analyze this game and in two days we will attack again."
Mike Stewart (coach Grizzlys Wolfsburg): "Our start was great. We played with speed and bite. My team defended well and set accents up front. Our penalty killing was also strong and Strahlmeier made a very good save. It was a top team performance. We're looking forward to the next challenge in Munich."
Spencer Machacek (Grizzlys Wolfsburg forward): "Both teams played really hard, the game took a lot of energy. That's how it is in a playoff semifinal series. Our MVP this season is Strahlmeier, he was great again today. It's a close series and we continue to look game by game."
