Traditional vest as jersey: This is our Wiesn jersey 2023Available from Friday in the online store and bullshops// CURRENTOnce again this year, the Red Bulls will be wearing a special jersey to match the Oktoberfest. You can also wrap yourself in the new Wiesn jersey from Friday.
On Saturday, Bavaria's fifth season finally began. "O'zapft is" is the motto at the Wiesn, which our Red Bulls also visited on Monday.
At the invitation of our partner Hacker-Pschorr, we feasted, laughed and swayed together in the festival tent under the Bavarian sky. One highlight: Red Bull Munich's new Wiesn jersey was officially presented. The jersey will be available from Friday in the online store and in the Bullshops.

Abeltshauser: "That's exactly what I like"
"The jersey is really nice. It's kept relatively simple, with the little Red Bull Munich logos and the hockey sticks, but that's exactly what I like," says Koni Abeltshauser, pleased with the jersey design. Our number 16 was the first to try on the jersey - and even conducted the Kirchdorf musicians in the Hacker-Pschorr tent.

"I was a little nervous because I'm not musically gifted. When I go to a concert, I even have problems clapping to the beat," jokes the defender, who eventually created a good atmosphere: "That's a super nice feeling. Everyone jumps up, good atmosphere - almost like when you score a goal in the stadium."

Vest look with many highlights
This year, our new special jersey is reminiscent of a traditional costume vest. The pattern is formed by numerous small logos of the EHC Red Bull Munich. The "vest" is in navy blue to match our club colors, and the pattern itself is of course in gold, symbolizing the championship we won in April. To match, the jersey has four stars as vest buttons, representing the number of our national titles.
Inside the player numbers is a Wiesn skyline. This shows, among other things, the large Ferris wheel and a symbolic marquee. Below the numbers is the word "Munich", which needs no explanation. In the collar, the slogan "First to the Oberwiesenfeld and after the game to the Wiesn tent" can be found again. Of course, this motto can also be put into practice.

Red Bulls wear Wiesn jersey against Frankfurt
As every year, you can see the jersey in action. At the home game against the Löwen Frankfurt on October 1 (4:00 p.m.), coach Toni Söderholm's boys will wear the jersey on the ice for the first time. Then also with matching pants cover and socks, which make the Wiesn look complete.
"We get it especially from the new players: Times in such a Wiesn outfit to play is something very special. These are photos that you hang up. You only get something like that in Minga and at no other club," Abeltshauser knows.
Like our home and away jerseys, the special jersey has been produced in Europe from 100 percent sustainable yarn. A corresponding certificate can be found inside the collector's item.
