EHC Red Bull Münchens CheckerBande: Rieder and Ehliz in Special Interviews
The children of the Red Bulls CheckerBande had a special opportunity on Tuesday: They got to conduct their own interviews with two players from EHC Red Bull Munich. Mia, Elisabeth, and Pia were able to ask our guys their questions in person.
Before going on camera, the kids received detailed training in interviewing and hosting from stadium announcer Wolfi Dittrich. Together, they finalized the questions, prepared backup questions, and discussed the most important basics for a good conversation. The young reporters also received tips on how to introduce the segment—as well as on speaking confidently and taking turns asking questions.
Questions for Tobias Rieder and Yasin Ehliz
Then it was time to get down to business: First, Mia and Elisabeth interviewed our forward Tobias Rieder. After about 15 minutes, Pia got to speak with Yasin Ehliz. The media team supported the filming both on and off camera, provided assistance when needed, and made sure the children stayed on track at all times.
Afterward, everyone went outside, where the intros for the videos were filmed. Wolfi guided the children through this process as well, and they were able to create their own narration based on their own ideas.
Editing Together
The final step took place in the press conference room: While editing the videos, the children worked together with the media team on their interviews. In the process, they learned about the individual steps involved and had a say in how their videos should ultimately look. To wrap things up, the finished videos were viewed and discussed together at a small premiere.
The result is two videos in which the children of the CheckerBande not only ask curious questions but also show just how much fun they have with hosting, interviews, and media production.
