DEB team in the World Cup quarterfinalsGermany enters the knockout phase of the World Cup// NATIONAL TEAMThe German national team has qualified for the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Finland and Latvia with a 5-0 sweep against group opponents France.With goal scorer Maximilian Kastner and goalie Mathias Niederberger, who did not concede a goal, two Munich players also shone in the DEB team kit on Tuesday. With the fourth win in a row, the team of national coach Harold Kreis ends the group phase in fourth place behind the USA, Sweden and Finland. In the quarterfinals, the DEB team will face Switzerland, which has established a commanding lead at the top of Group B with six wins from six games.
