// DEL - HIGHLIGHTS
Game summary
It took just 28 seconds from the first puck drop for Munich goalie Simon Wolf to make his first save. Ingolstadt continued to play fast and aggressively towards the goal, and their efforts paid off in the fourth minute when Riley Barber scored to make it 1-0 for the hosts. While Wolf remained in the spotlight and made some impressive saves, the Red Bulls' offense only posed a sporadic threat. The visitors' best chance came when Brady Ferguson hit the post during a power play (15th minute). Ingolstadt was more effective on the power play: Alex Breton scored to give his team a 2-0 lead at the end of the first period.
Ingolstadt's efficiency continued seamlessly in the second period. Barber increased the lead to 3-0 with his second goal (23rd minute). But this time, Munich struck back immediately. After winning the puck at their own blue line, they moved forward without hesitation and DeSousa reduced the deficit to 1-3 in the 25th minute. Munich was now getting better and better into the game. While shorthanded, Kastner scored his 100th goal in the DEL to make it 2-3 (34th minute). At the break, however, the Panthers had a 4-2 lead on the scoreboard. Daniel Pietta deflected the puck into the Munich goal in the 39th minute.
Just 38 seconds into the final period, Fabio Wagner set up DeSousa for a brace and a 3-4 goal for the Red Bulls. Both teams were now creating chances. The closer the final buzzer came, the greater the pressure from Munich. Ingolstadt counterattacked and made it 5-3 in the 55th minute with Barber's third goal. In the final minute, Myles Powell scored into the empty Munich net to make it 6-3.

Maximilian Kastner:
„Wir waren in den ersten 40 Minuten nicht präsent, haben zu viele Fehler gemacht. Wir waren heute insgesamt zu harmlos und sechs Gegentore sind zu viel. Wir müssen jetzt analysieren und am Sonntag besser spielen. Wir müssen 60 Minuten Red Bull Hockey zeigen.“
