EHC Red Bull München: Adam Brooks scores goal number 3000 against Nuremberg
Assisted by Taro Hirose and Ryan Murphy, Brooks scored on a power play—a powerful moment that not only made the game more exciting, but also underscored our sporting achievements since our promotion to the DEL. In the end, we lost the game by a narrow margin of 4-5. However, this moment will long remain in our memories.

Julien scores his first DEL goal – Rautert sets up the assist
Looking back on our journey in the German Ice Hockey League, it's clear how much we've developed as a club. Our very first DEL goal was scored by Stéphane Julien on September 3, 2010.
Interestingly, one of the assists came from Neville Rautert, who is now our Managing Director of Sport. This brings us full circle, as Julien's goal laid the foundation for our four German championships to date in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2023.

After this historic goal, things went steadily uphill. Our 100th DEL goal was scored on February 21, 2012, against Nuremberg. The goal scorer at the time was Jason Ulmer. A good four years later, the next historic goal was scored: Keith Aucoin scored in the fourth final game to secure victory against the Grizzlys Wolfsburg, sealing not only a 4-0 sweep against the Autostädter, but also our first league title.

Eight match days later in the following season, in October 2016, we broke the 1,000-goal mark. Back then, it was Mads Christensen who scored against Mannheim. “Our” current NHL star JJ Peterka had the honor of scoring the 2,000th DEL goal in April 2021 – another significant moment in our history. And now, just under five years later, we have reached the next thousand mark thanks to goal scorer Brooks, Hirose, and Murphy.
The speed of these milestones is proof of our offensive strength
The speed with which we have achieved these milestones so far speaks for the consistency and quality of our team. While we needed 343 games to score the first 1,000 goals, the next 1,000 goals came after just 286 games. We needed 304 games to score the last 1,000 goals – proof of our offensive strength.
