EHC Red Bull Munich: Adam Brooks suffers injury
The Canadian suffered a lower-body injury in last Sunday's away game against the Nuremberg Ice Tigers (4-5), in which he scored two goals. He is expected to be unavailable for the team for around six weeks.
Brooks is one of the Red Bulls' top offensive performers in the current PENNY DEL season. In 33 regular season games so far, the forward has scored 32 points (11 goals | 21 assists), making him the team's second-best scorer. The 29-year-old had only just made a successful comeback at the beginning of January after several weeks out with injury.
Oswald's participation this weekend uncertain
In recent games, coach Oliver David has also been without forwards Chris DeSousa (upper body) and Maximilian Kastner (lower body). It is also uncertain whether forward Veit Oswald will be able to play this coming weekend.
Adam Brooks has been under contract with EHC Red Bull Munich since the 2024/25 season. So far, he has played exclusively for the Red Bulls, appearing in 66 games (22 goals | 32 assists) in Germany's top ice hockey league.
