EHC Red Bull München: New Signings Outfitted in Team Uniforms
Because in addition to the season opener against the Adler Mannheim on September 19 at 7:30 p.m., the next highlight awaits our Red Bulls right away in September: our group visit to Oktoberfest.
Ready for Oktoberfest
To make sure our guys cut a fine figure as a team at Oktoberfest, the traditional attire from our partner Angermaier was, of course, a must. So on Thursday, our new recruits got to try on their Oktoberfest outfits.
“It feels really good—just like in the old days. It’s been quite a while since I last wore lederhosen. But I’m really looking forward to wearing them again at Oktoberfest and during our Oktoberfest match days against Frankfurt and Augsburg,” explains Dominik Kahun, who previously wore the Red Bulls traditional outfit from 2014 to 2018.

Carrick: “You can really feel how important this is to Munich”
For Trevor Carrick, a native of Canada, it was a completely new experience to appear in the traditional attire: “This is the first time in my life I’ve worn lederhosen. They still feel a little tight, but I’ve already been told that you have to break them in a bit first (laughs).”
In their new outfits, our guys are ready for the upcoming Wiesn schedule, including Oktoberfest and two matchdays themed around the festival on September 27 and October 4. Carrick, looking ahead to the world’s largest folk festival: “Of course, I’ve heard a little about Oktoberfest. You can really feel throughout the whole city just how important it is to Munich and the traditions here. I’m really looking forward to experiencing it for myself.”
In addition to Kahun and Carrick, Elis Hede, Lukas Klok, Lucas Thaler, Moritz Warnecke, and Luis Becker were also outfitted in the traditional attire designed by Angermaier specifically for the EHC Red Bull München.
