EHC Red Bull München: Here's How the Red Bulls Salute 2026 Welcome Event Went
The Welcome Event at Red Bulls Salute
// HIGHLIGHTS
The mood was already lively on the way to the group BBQ. The teams led by the four coaches—Christian Dubé (EHC Biel-Bienne), Alan Letang (EC Red Bull Salzburg), Oliver David (EHC Red Bull München), and Filip Pešán (HC Dynamo Pardubice), as well as the players, were chatting animatedly with one another. Many new acquaintances, numerous reunions—after all, everyone knows each other in the hockey world. A friendly evening before things get serious on the ice starting Friday.
Winkler: “We’re going to see some really exciting games”
Christian Winkler, Managing Director of Sports at Red Bull Ice Hockey: “The Welcome Event is always a great way to kick off a weekend like this. All the teams come together and can get to know each other in a relaxed setting. But now we’re looking forward to four great games featuring four strong teams from four different leagues. The Red Bulls Salute is always a great way to kick off the season, and I’m sure we’re in for some truly exciting games.”
