EHC Red Bull München: Training Kicks Off in Front of Members of the Press
As of this week, the Red Bulls are once again fully focused on the upcoming DEL season. With the official start of training on Monday, the team is concentrating on the challenges ahead. In front of about 20 members of the press, Captain Patrick Hager and his teammates completed their first joint practice session and were already able to draw a positive initial conclusion.
Hager raves about the first practice
“Today was one of the best first days of training I’ve ever had in my career. The pace, the quality, and the excitement within the team are already high, and that’s exactly what we want to keep building on,” Hager said happily after the session. After these first few days with a full roster, our No. 52 is already fired up for the upcoming season: “On Sunday, we had a successful kickoff with the fans, where we really got them excited right away. Now the focus is fully on our athletic preparation.”

Kahun on his first practice: “It all still feels very familiar”
All of the Red Bulls’ new signings were also on the ice. While for most of them it was their first practice together in our jersey, for Dominik Kahun, the session marked his official return to Munich. “It doesn’t feel like I’ve been away for eight years. It all still feels very much like home,” said the 31-year-old.
He continued: “Returning to Munich is a huge deal for me and my family. For me personally, it’s a labor of love and the biggest move of my career so far.” Although Kahun became a father for the first time late Saturday night, he didn’t want to miss his first practice. Perfect timing for the returnee, who already says he “doesn’t want to miss a single game” during training camp.

A challenging schedule awaits the Red Bulls
The first game for the team’s old and new No. 21 is already scheduled for this coming Sunday against the Steinbach Black Wings in Linz (4:00 p.m.). The subsequent games will not only be closely scheduled but will also feature top-tier opponents.
At the subsequent Red Bulls Salute on August 21 and 22 in Zell am See, EHC Red Bull München will first face EC Red Bull Salzburg and then either the reigning Czech runner-up, HC Dynamo Pardubice, or the three-time Swiss champion, EHC Biel. Tickets for both games are still available.
