Winkler: ''We have a new 'sheriff' at Olympiapark''
Christian Winkler, Managing Director Sports Red Bull Ice Hockey: "Dillon is a player who has been on our radar for several years. He is characterized by absolute dedication to the team and leadership qualities. He likes to play where it can get nasty: in the corners and in front of the goal. Dillon comes to Munich highly motivated. The discussions that coach Oliver David, Neville Rautert and I have had with him and his former coaches and teammates have strengthened our resolve to bring him into our organization. With him, we have a new 'sheriff' in the Olympic Park. This means we are very well staffed at all positions and have the necessary depth to optimally fuel the competition from the import players to the U23 players."
Dillon Heatherington: "Red Bull Munich is an absolutely top organization that is known all over the world. They treat everyone with great respect, which is certainly exceptional. I can't wait to get to Munich and meet my new teammates, the organization's staff and the fans. I want to settle into the city quickly and get to know the Munich culture. The goal, of course, is to win every game. I want to do my bit quickly and help us grow together as a team and get better and better throughout the season. I'm really looking forward to this new chapter."
