Playoffs DEL EHC Red Bull München: Voices and Stats after Final 2

Why a bad memory can be an advantage in the playoffsVoices & Stats for the second final game// DEL - CURRENTThe Red Bulls turned a conceivably poor start into a furious one - and laid the foundation for their second victory (7:1) in the second final game. Konrad Abeltshauser explains what a bad memory had to do with it. The voices & stats.
Don Jackson (Coach, Red Bull München): "We know that Ingolstadt wouldn't have made it to the final if they didn't have a strong team. Therefore, we have to keep the focus. We continue to look from third to third, game to game."
Yasin Ehliz (forward, Red Bull München): "The game started wildly. But we didn't let ourselves get rattled, we pressed the gas pedal properly. We scored the goals and then played our game. A 2-0 in the series means nothing, we have to stay focused."
Konrad Abeltshauser (defender, Red Bull München): "We had the first chance, a few seconds later the puck is in our goal. You can't have a short-term memory in the playoffs, you have to be able to tick off quickly - after the game and even after every change. We managed to do that very well."
Mark French (coach, ERC Ingolstadt): "We talked a lot about the importance of a good start. We were able to make it 1-0, but the very next change with the quick equalizer hurt us. We have to grow from this experience, learn from the mistakes and find solutions for Game 3."
