Don Jackson: "The series is entering the decisive phase. We got off to a slow start and made some mistakes that we don't normally make. But we fought our way back into the game and created chances. Our forecheck was really good and Mathias Niederberger made great saves. It was a very close game. We're preparing for the next game of this kind."

Yasin Ehliz: "Bremerhaven came out of the dressing room super and made it very difficult for us. There were few chances on both sides. We always tried to force them into mistakes and luckily scored the goals. That gave us a tailwind. In the final phase we played it super in our own third. In Game 5, both teams will go full throttle again, it will be another hard-fought match."

Thomas Popiesch (Coach, Pinguins Bremerhaven): "In the back the special teams made the difference: Munich scored, we struggled. In 5-on-5 we did a lot of things right, but at the end of the day it's the little things that decide a game like this. We played more compact than in Game 3 and created chances, but it's just not that easy to score three or four goals against Munich."

The Red Bulls sank three of their 25 shots on goal and allowed only 16 opponent shots on goal.

Powerplay factor: Munich took advantage of its only overtime situation, Bremerhaven went empty-handed on three attempts.

Austin Ortega scored his third goal in this playoff series via penalty. Only in Game 3 did our top scorer of the main round not score himself. Instead, the US American contributed two assists to the 7:1 victory at Oberwiesenfeld.

Mathias Niederberger saved 15 of the 16 shots on goal (93.8 percent) and conceded only one goal for the second game in a row.
