The game became rougher and on the power play the Penguins turned the match through Phillip Bruggisser's slap shot from the blue line (49th). 2:3 - Munich under zugzwang, Bremerhaven shut down again. In the 57th minute Don Jackson took the goalkeeper off the ice. A dramatic final phase on the North Sea coast with the better end for the hosts, who brought their lead over time and are now 2-0 ahead in the quarterfinal series.
