CheckerBande: Press conference and training with EHC Red Bull München
Beaming faces everywhere – no wonder, because the young fans of EHC Red Bull München were allowed to watch a Red Bulls training game live from the stands of Hall 1 during the Olympic break.
After the training session, the youngsters went to a place where usually only the “big guys” stand: the mixed zone. This is where our players are normally interviewed by journalists and accompanied by cameras after important games. This time, however, the stage belonged entirely to the kids.
Games, fun, and lots of memories
The kids were able to let off steam at various play stations and take a few souvenir photos with the Red Bulls. In the subsequent press conference, it was the children's turn to ask their questions. Instead of experienced media representatives, the girls and boys of the CheckerBande took on the role of reporters.

Our forward Maxi Kastner and defenseman Phillip Sinn spent around an hour answering the children's curious questions. The kids really put the pros through their paces and had everyone in stitches. It was a day that will long remain in the memories of not only the children, but also the players.
