Our fanspeakers: The "new" among the experienced ones// FANSIn recent weeks, around 500 fans have cast their votes in the election of the fan representatives. The count has shown that there will be a change in the trio. Manfred Kiemer and Tine Eglmeier. Actually, no introduction is needed, after all, the two are well known in the fan scene and have been active as fan spokespersons for EHC Red Bull München for numerous years. Kiemer once again took first place with a large majority of the votes (32.4 percent), followed by Eglmeier with 24.5 percent.
Trio starts on May 1
The race for third place could hardly have been more exciting. Franzl Demir (16.8 percent) won the duel with Sanny Haschenz (15.7 percent) by a narrow margin. At this point, the club would like to express its thanks for the great and constructive cooperation with the board member of the fan initiative "Der 7. Mann e. V.". By the way, Manfred, Tine and Sanny will remain your contact persons until the end of the season. The new trio will then start on May 1, 2023.
"A great honor"
During the home win against the Penguins Bremerhaven last Sunday, Franzl was welcomed by our stadium announcer Stefan Schneider in the interview and was allowed to introduce himself to the fans right away. Franzl's real name is Serkan Demir and, appropriately enough, he got his nickname from the friend who got him into ice hockey.

Demir has been the chairman of our official fan club "Zugfahrer 98" for over six years. "I'm really looking forward to the upcoming tasks," the 38-year-old lets slip. "It is a great honor for me. I want to and will have an open ear for all fans," Franzl continues.
What are the tasks of the fan representatives?
The fan representatives are the first point of contact for all topics relating to being a fan. They act as a link between fans and the EHC Red Bull München office. They also handle communication with other clubs and fan representatives of the German Ice Hockey League and are also the point of contact for the Red Bulls' head of security and the police.
