EHC Red Bull München: Thanks to the fans

63 games of support and a new attendance record: THANK YOU, fans!// FANSThe 2025–26 season is over, and now that we’ve already taken stock of our performance on the field, we don’t want to miss this opportunity to thank our fans for their incredible support.
Including the quarterfinals and semifinals of this year’s playoffs, the Red Bulls took to the ice 63 times during the past DEL season. Throughout it all, the team could always be certain that they weren’t just fighting for wins and, ultimately, the title.
Whether at SAP Garden—which, thanks to you, has long felt like home since we moved in two years ago—or in the arenas of our rivals scattered across Germany: We could count on you even in difficult situations.
As always, special thanks go to our fan clubs, which have once again distinguished themselves this year with their exceptional dedication. With their devotion and love for the club, they have once again made traditional off-ice events, such as the annual rally, something truly special.
Thanks to the fan club “Der 7. Mann”
Looking back, we want to highlight two fan clubs and express our special thanks to them. After 15 years of tireless dedication, “Der 7. Mann” will no longer provide the capos starting next season—those who, as lead singers and cheerleaders, reliably and tangibly energized our fan section. This also resonated with the guys on the ice.
We are aware of the challenges this role has entailed year after year, respect the decision to hand over this responsibility, and would like to formally say THANK YOU once again. These have been memorable years in the fan section—whether at the Olympic Ice Arena or, most recently, at SAP Garden.

Thanks to “EHCfans-ontour”
We’d also like to thank “EHCfans-ontour”. Since the 2012/13 season, the fan club has regularly organized and coordinated away trips to ensure that all fans enjoy hassle-free and memorable trips to other stadiums. You have succeeded in doing this year after year, right up until your final season in 2025/26. In doing so, you have also shaped our club culture and rendered a great service to us as an organization and to the players on the ice.
As in the previous playoffs, there will of course continue to be organized away trips with the EHC Red Bull München. In the future, the newly founded “Eishockey Fanprojekt München” is expected to organize trips to other stadiums. We are delighted that familiar faces from our fan community are taking on the task of away games and want to offer as many fans as possible the opportunity to support the Red Bulls even when they’re on the road.

Record: 21 sellouts and 322,312 spectators at SAP Garden
Our final thanks go to the fans in and around Munich, who turned out in greater numbers than ever before to attend our games. A total of 322,312 spectators made their way to the SAP Garden over 31 home games. That averages out to about 10,397 attendees per game—a 96.3 percent capacity rate. We sold out 21 home games. All of these are record numbers!
Although the pain of our semifinal loss to Mannheim is still fresh, we can be proud not only of the team but also of our fans. Without you, much of this wouldn’t be possible; without you, much of it would bring us less joy. So: THANK YOU!
