EHC Red Bull München: Phillip Sinn is heading to the NHL
The defenseman has accepted an offer from an NHL club and will leave the Red Bulls this summer after one season. Last season, Sinn played a total of 46 DEL games for Red Bull München during the regular season and playoffs.

Of course, a huge thank you and great respect also go out to all the fans and their tireless support over the past few years—both in Munich and in Salzburg.”
World Championship debut for Germany
Even before joining EHC Red Bull München in the summer of 2025, the 22-year-old was already part of the organization. From 2018 to 2023, Sinn progressed through various stages of the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy. Subsequently, the defenseman played 94 games as a professional for EC Red Bull Salzburg in the ICE Hockey League over two seasons. Sinn also made twelve appearances for the Austrian team in the Champions League.
The German national team player gained further international experience in ten games for the DEB team. Most recently, the defenseman made his World Championship debut in Switzerland, where he was named to Germany’s roster five times.
