EHC Red Bull München: Tobias Rieder withdraws from Deutschland Cup due to injury
Rieder sustained this injury on Sunday. During the 2-0 victory against the Kölner Haie, the 32-year-old had to leave the ice shortly after the start of the game to receive treatment.
Rieder has recently been one of the key players in Munich's upward trend. In the last four games before the match against Cologne, the national player scored four goals and also contributed two assists.

Despite Rieder's absence, Mathias Niederberger, Phillip Sinn, Fabio Wagner, Maximilian Kastner, and Yasin Ehliz remain in national coach Harold Kreis's squad.
