Red Bull München signs ERC Ingolstadt captain Fabio Wagner
The 29-year-old defenseman has played for Ingolstadt since 2014. In his eleven years with the Upper Bavarians, Wagner has played a total of 569 games in the PENNY DEL. He also made 24 appearances in the Champions Hockey League.
In the past season, the defensive specialist, who has captained Ingolstadt since the 2020/21 season, played all 64 league games and scored 14 points (four goals | ten assists).

Wagner gets the number 55
Wagner has been an integral part of the German national team for many years beyond his involvement in Ingolstadt. The 29-year-old has been on the ice for Germany at the last four World Championships and was also part of the 2022 Olympic squad.
In Munich, the defender will wear the number 55 in future.
