Summer schedule set: Red Bulls wrap up preseason against HC PustertalOverview of all dates// NEWSOur preseason schedule for the 2026–27 season is set. The game against HC Pustertal on September 11 will be our final preseason match before the start of the new PENNY DEL season. Here is a summary of all the dates.
The season kicks off on August 16 with an away game against the Steinbach Black Wings Linz. The game at the LINZ AG Eisarena starts at 4:00 p.m. and will be the first real test for Coach Oliver David’s team.
Red Bulls Salute is once again the highlight of the summer break
Just a few days later, all eyes will turn to the Red Bulls Salute in Zell am See. The international invitational tournament will be held for the 18th time on August 21 and 22. In addition to EHC Red Bull München and co-host EC Red Bull Salzburg, two other top European teams will participate: Czech champions HC Dynamo Pardubice and the historic Swiss club EHC Biel. The Munich team will face Salzburg in the second semifinal.

Two exciting preseason tournaments—concluding in Bruneck
At the end of August, the Red Bulls will travel to Bolzano for the Südtirol Summer Classic. In the semifinals on August 29, they will face another international opponent, Lausanne HC. Rounding out the field of participants are the host team, HC Bolzano, and the Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble from France.
The team will compete in the Warrior Cup in Kaufbeuren on the first weekend of September. In addition to EHC Red Bull München, the tournament will feature host team ESV Kaufbeuren, the Northern Irish club Belfast Giants, and Swiss National League team HC Ambri-Piotta.
The preseason will conclude with an away game against HC Falkensteiner Pustertal. The match will take place on September 11 at the Intercable Arena in Brunico.
