Red Bull München: Phillip Sinn, Fabio Wagner & Maximilian Kastner on DEB roster
With the PENNY DEL finals already underway, preparations for the Ice Hockey World Championship from May 15 to 31 are also moving forward. Three players from EHC Red Bull München have now been included in the third phase of squad nominations.
Defensemen Phillip Sinn and Fabio Wagner, as well as forward Maximilian Kastner, will be part of the DEB roster for at least the two international matches against the Austrian national team.
The games will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in Zell am See, Austria, and on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Kreis: “Expecting tough tests against Austria”
National Team Coach Kreis: “In Phase Two, during the international matches against the Slovakian team, we saw a cohesive team performance and executed many things well. We want to build on that in the coming training week and also integrate the players who are now joining us. In that regard, we expect two more demanding tests against Austria, which will provide us with further insights.”
As part of the roster announcement, the DEB also announced that there will be autograph sessions with the team’s coaches and players at both preparatory games. On May 1, an autograph session will take place starting at 12:00 p.m. in downtown Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Casino. In the afternoon, the DEB invites the public to an open practice at the Olympia-Eissport-Zentrum starting at 4:00 PM. Admission is free.
